The 83 kDa subunit binds and stabilizes the catalytic subunit at 37 degrees Celsius and keeps it in circulation. Under some circumstances it may be an allosteric modifier of the catalytic subunit.

	Western blot analysis of lysate from HepG2 cell line, using CPN2 Antibody (N-term)(Cat. #P31239). P31239 was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug per lane.
	CPN2 Antibody (N-term) (Cat. #P31239)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining.This data demonstrates the use of CPN2 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
