Factor that represses transcription. It binds to the GC-rich sequences (5′-GCGGGGC-3′) present in the epidermal growth factor receptor, beta-actin, and calcium-dependent protease promoters. Involved in pre-mRNA splicing through regulating spliceosome C complex formation.
