Description
This gene encodes a protein containing two conserved tandem RNA recognition motifs. Similar proteins in other species function as RNA-binding proteins and play central roles in posttranscriptional gene regulation. Expression of this gene has been correlated with the grade of the malignancy and proliferative activity in gliomas and melanomas. A pseudogene for this gene is located on chromosome 11q13.

	Western blot analysis of lysate from SH‑SY5Y cell line, using MSI1 Antibody (N-term)(Cat. #P31022). P31022 was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug per lane.
	MSI1 Antibody (N-term) (Cat. #P31022) flow cytometric analysis of CEM cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
	MSI1 Antibody (N-term) (Cat. #P31022)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining.This data demonstrates the use of MSI1 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
